This commission included developing an illustrative poster/identity for Plan C’s newest campaign through Amplifier Art. Their main mission was to push a good narrative about important information regarding discourse around abortion rights during difficult times where women don’t know where to go to, to recieve the right care.
The poster shows two hands holding a glowing light which in this case is the pill. It’s meant to feel whimsical and hopeful when looking at it first glance. The phrase “Information is Care” grabs the viewers in by providing a less in your face poster but more so a gentle pull into the campaign. Although facing backlash as well as harassment on this campaign throughout the city of Tulsa, there were also many, many women that were touched. We were able to reach nearly 400,000 people in greater Tulsa, 83 sites with wheat pasted posters, gave away 800 pieces of art, and had 6 full page newspapers.
